Project 1:
“Space”

The goal of this project is to produce an interactive experience that creates, or recreates, a space that is familiar to you. The term “space” can be taken literally, or metaphorically.

Collect a minimum of 6 images that represent a space. Images can be photos, drawings, cartoons...

Write a proposal explaining the experience you will be creating and detail how the viewer will interact with the piece.

Create storyboards and a flowchart that help explain and diagram your proposal.
Input and organize all of your digital content.

Import your content into Director and assemble your interface.

Test your project for bugs.

 

Project 2: “Sound Image”

The goal of the project is to produce an interactive experience that establishes a relationship between an object and a sound through the use of motion, or animation.

Write a proposal explaining the experience you will be creating and detail how the viewer will interact with the piece.

Create storyboards and a flowchart that help explain and diagram your proposal.

Collect a minimum of 6 images that represent an object that you will be interacting with.

Collect 6 sounds that will be played.

Input and organize all of your digital content.

Import your content into Director and assemble your interface.

Test your project for bugs.

 

Project 3: “Information Design”

The goal of the project is to produce an interactive experience that educates or tells a story.

Write a proposal explaining the experience you will be creating and detail how the viewer will interact with the piece.

Create storyboards and a flowchart that help explain and diagram your proposal.

Collect all of the media content, including images, sounds and copy, that you will be using in the project.

Concept and design your interface.

Input and organize all of your digital content.

Import your content into Director and assemble your interface.

Program your project.

Test your project for bugs.
